I tried it on freshly washed hair and paid attention to how evenly it applied. The spray felt like a fine, lightweight mist, and I used my fingers to work it through before gently combing my hair. For my shoulder-length hair, 4 or 5 sprays seemed to be just right. It spread evenly without leaving my hair feeling wet, sticky, or weighed down!
